Haven't pulled the heads as of yet. But I'm thinking, head gasket & something cracked. Don't believe the mains and rob bearings are gonna look to good....lots of nice shiny bits in the oil pan last night.

That sucks! I've been there before. I put an engine together drove the car 10 miles and had to take the engine right back out. I didn't know you had to use a certain type of head gasket for aluminum heads.

How's this for progress???
Would have had her running tonight, BUT i got to get a dang threaded insert for the front of the head, where the rod between PS and AC goes. Somehow we missed that along the way. All that is left is bolt up AC and PS drop in radiator and fan, fill it up with coolant and fire her up!!! Oil is already in and primed ready to go.

Dang man, its coming along faster than mine. I was going to take some pics to show some progress but I'm ashamed now, lol. Got my rad in, intake on, waiting for pushrods and a fan. Also looking for a 24# MAF.
