As some of you know my son and I went to Charleston Feb of 07 and picked up a foxbody for him. Well we knew it was going to need a new clutch, but after getting it home we found more problems. Seems car had had a Supercharger on it at one time, along with aftermarket heads and intake. All this was taken off and stock parts slapped back on..YES Slapped back on. I drove it back and forth to work for a week or so, only to find it running warmer than I liked. Found out it was a blown head gasket. No dowels on the right side head!!! We got a new clutch and gaskets (With a big helping hand from Johnny), and tired to get it ready for Mustangweek 2007. Got it all back together and cleaned up, headed home from my buddy's shop. Two miles up the road, I lost all oil press!! Well Chuck came and got the car and took it to his home, and tore into it. Wasn't a pretty site Main bearings gone along with the crank. Well money was tight, so the car came back home. Now forward to June 2008, Kelly and I found a engine for Brad's ride and gave it to him for graduation. Peter and Arthur picked up the car last week, and progress has begun once again.............
After Brad's cleaning, before Peter got a hold of it..
Engine Bay tapped off and primed...
Start of re painting...
I should have some "before" pics of the engine tomorrow.

Glad to see Brad's car will be back on the road soon. If they work as fast as they did on your car, he should be back driving the stang in no time. That was a great graduation present from you and Kelly.

Probably be awhile before I find a need for the Coupe's original Shortblock. It's avialable if you need a long term loaner, or if you want to find it a new home. Give me a shout if you need anything...

Just wondering, out of curiosity, why did you paint the washer bottle and tape up the starter solenoid, 2 screws and you can take it off??
