Here's a tire question.....what tires do you run....
I have basically stock 93 5 ltr making about 210 rwhp... my current tires are 450 Nitto's and have lasted a little over 1yr ,have about 40k on them and only a couple burn outs.. none left any marks and hooked up pretty good.... replacement time is coming up in the next month or so...

BFG's KD...or KDW's a little expensive......but with a little practice,they will hook good on the street

I have run Nitto 555R and some cheapo Winston Winners. My coupe has BFG KDW on it but they are burnt to shreads (not my doing). I like the Nittos, too narrow tho, Winston Winners were really cheap and ride nice, no traction.

i have a stock 5.0 as well, and i have bfg g-force sport. there a great tire in the rain, and on dry road. i really like them, but alot of people hate them. but they ride smooth and handle great. as far as spining them go..... stock 5.0 i would say 7 out of 10. sizes are 255/50 in the rear and 225/50 in the front

I love my Nitto 555s, what little bit i've gotten to drive on them. Kelly 90 has Hankook Ventus H101's on it and they have a great ride, quiet, spin easy (without leaving marks..hehehe) and good handling. Brad's has Hankook Ventus HRII H405s

Not me, I bought my first set of 555's and I do not like them at all. Biggest piece of shit tire made IMO. Be very careful in the rain, these Nitto's hate the rain. As soon as I have the extra cash, they are coming off for a good tire, no more Jap tires for me. Sure wish I would have bought a set of Goodyear's or the BFG KDW. Instead of waisting my money on Nitto's.

when i had my t-bird all i ran was goodyear aquatreads (spelling?) i LOVED those tires.. they handle like nothing else ever could .. wet or dry..... i dont know if they are even made anymore but if so and they had them to fit a stang, i would run them again.

If I was after DR's, I would 100% be buying MT's over the Nitto's. My friend just totaled his 03 GT with 555R's on the rear. Driving 60 MPH down I-95, road was wet but not raining, then out of no where the rear came out and put him in the retaining wall head on.
