1/4 windows are CRAZY expensive. like 300-500 for one! so if they are really cheap (price wise) you get what you pay for. i would take 92turbolx up on his offer. i actually might do that.^^^post up some pics. do you take the windows out? or what. thanks

Those look good! How long would it take you to do a set? I'll try to find a set in a junk yard and have them done so I can still drive my car.

Don't use those things off ebay. Me and a buddy of mine do paint work in my shop and the quater windows on my GT were bad and we fixed them and they look stock. I'll post some pics tomorrow. If your interested we can do them for ya for $100 for the set That is a lot less money then a new set. I have a brand new set, and have been offered over $1,000 for them. For now, I'll just keep them in their original box. You can't find new Carlite Coupe quarte glass any more.

I think I should buy a set and fix them and sell them for a grand!!! lol Probably could get some sucker to buy them off ebay. ;D I have had my brand new set for over 10 years. They were going to get used on my 89, but it got totaled first. I think Matt at FBR has on set left for $1,200.

If your interested we can do them for ya for $100 for the set If you cant afford even $100 then there is a Much cheaper way to redo them without spending more than $20. This way does NOT look as good as what 92TurboLX is doing so if you can afford it get him to do it because that shit LOOKS GOOD!!!!! Okay you need 100 grit sand paper to take off all the loose shit then hit them with some 150 grit and then some 180 grit to smooth them out. Then clean the BALLS out of them on both sides with Prep All from advanced or the Zone and allow them to dry for about 1 hour in the sun. Then tape off your glass and flip them so the back is up. From about 1" in arournd the edge leave untaped but tape all the rest. You will need 2-3 cans of 'Performix' Liquid tape 'Electrical' form Wal-mart or the depot, it is about $5 per can. Spray the side that goes against the car first making sure to get it over the edge. Then flip the window over making sure not to mess up what you just did and then spray the other side making sure to over lap the outer edge. Make sure to use about 3 VERY Light Coats First! Between the coats use a hair dryer on high to dry the first 3 coats. ****DONT BE STUPID AND HOLD IT TO CLOSE TO SPEED IT UP AND MELT YOUR WINDOWS, TAKE YOUR TIME OR IT WILL LOOK LIKE TOTAL SHIT!!!!!****** Last step is to spray the back with a light coat and then flip it and spray the front with a Nice Even Wet Coat, allow to sit for about 3 min the peal the tape VERY carfully and allow it to dry over night and you will have Black windows again. Again this just smooths out the pits and takes them from grey to to black agian. If you can afford it have a professional repair them for you. Good Luck!

What about the windows you would get at an autoglass shop if your window got broken out? I've heard that some don't have the mustang script on in the glass. Is this true of all of them?
92TurboLX: those moldings look awesome!

Is this true of all of them? 92TurboLX: those moldings look awesome! I think that those 1/4 windows are just NON Ford. I have seen them in person and they are NICE! I am not sure as to how they will hold up in comparison to the OEM Replacements. For the difference in Price I would say it is worth the chance. I have seen the Non Labeled Windows go on eBay for $2-400 and the Ford OEM's go from $6-800. LRS used to have a source on those Replacements but the last few times I checked they lost their source and they are Listed as unavailable. If you call up their ask for Brian He could give you the run down an probably tell you where you could find them. I still say that for a hell of a lot less you could get 92TurboLX to do them and they look just as good as new. Even with shipping you will save BIG $.
