I dumped the vortech and started down the road of turbo boost. Here is the car last year. Here is a pic from a few days ago. I started it Sat 8-9 and immediately the oil pressure went to 0. Took the distributor out and put a oil pump primer shaft on the oil pump drive shaft and it felt mushy . . . Sunday 8-10 raised motor 3 inches and dropped the oil pan. Saw the problem right away . . . the oil pump had broke and the only thing holding it up was the pickup tube Put a new oil pump on and primed it and the oil pressure is a soild 55psi. So I started it up. Tonight or tommorow I am going to road test it, wish me luck!

Looking very nice, glad you caught that pump, before it could cause any real problem.

Looks good. Is that a kit you put together yourself? I bought the turbo kit from bgturbokits.com. $2500 Hot and cold piping, MasterPower t70, tial 38mm wastegate, tial 50mm BOV, 4" intercooler, and all hoses and couplers. t a 3" PMAS protube.

Looks good man! Let me know if you want to hit 500hp. I will hook you up b/c of the, well...you know. Again sorry for all that, just hope you understand and accept my apolagize.
I think that you may have a wiring issue near the battery you might want to take a look at that! J/K

I had the wires runing through the turbo and in the downpipe to keep them hid but they kept getting tangled up. I don't think I will have a problem hitting 500 but knowing the limits of stock blocks I don't want to go quite that far.

I had the wires running through the turbo and in the down pipe to keep them hid but they kept getting tangled up. I don't think I will have a problem hitting 500 but knowing the limits of stock blocks I don't want to go quite that far. I would still try and hit it once so you got that Paper for the shows, it will blow peoples minds. If we build you a custom IC you could get those temps down a ton to keep you in the safe temp ranges at that level of boost. I got 2 degrees above ambient with our thinnest core at 22psi on the track running for 3 hours! It would keep you in the low octane levels at 450+ thats for sure. You could even run 87 if you wanted to at lower levels! save gas and burn tires, now that is what I call an economy Turbo Kit! I got a Killer Alcohol system for the fox too. It uses 100% alky instead of the mix. with 93 it would put you at 108 octane and it is progressively controlled by your MAF so its only on when you need it! One of my GN customers is running 24psi on 93 and he goes to the track about 3 times a week in Florida and he said that 1 gallon lasted him(keep in mind this is a daily driver) 3 months or something ridiculous like that. To keep you oil at optimum temp (where it protects the best) run a oil cooler adapter and get a AOD radiator and run it into the cooler bungs. It will help your oil get to temperature at the same time as your coolant and it will keep the oil from getting to hot due to the turbo. I will shoot you some Detailed pics of my wifes turbo GT and you can see a lot of thing that I did that dont cost hardly any money but will improve the performance and drivability of a turbo car. Just PM me you E-mail and I will get some pics to you!

No I have just wrote a basic tune delete all smog, fuel injector high and low slopes, injector breakpoints, maf transfer. This is enough to drive around for now. I am keeping my air fuel ratio's at 13 just cruising around almost no throttle just to break it in. It starts up and idles like a stock car. Thanks. The test drives are going good. maybe a couple of weeks and I can start getting on it! what do you mean? you havent tuned it or nuttin?
