I have a couple dashes 87-89 and 90-93. The bottom of the cluster is different. On a 87-89 the bottom of the cluster is flat and the 90+ cars has a semi circle. Yeah the column covers are different but so are the columns and clusters. You can look on ebay at a 89 and a 91 and see the difference.

yeah i know theres a difference, but the plates are the same either way, the only difference with the MC machine plates is how much of the area below the center 2 gauges is covered.
sorry thats the point i was trying to make. the plates are the exact same i think.

ok, ive been doing some looking. i know we are all broke from christmas, but as this starts to go together. the cheapest i have found gauges is from the local performance shop in Columbia, SC. he has summit's prices with no shipping/handling fee. and anything not instock will be delivered next day. you can prolly get them to order them in and pic them up and pay next day. or you can pay over the phone and i can pick them up and bring them to a meeting, or something. anything to help a fellow foxer out. for the ones interested in switching to non-air bag columns. ive got 2, and im working on getting the plastic trim pieces too.

i ordered mine the other day. ive been doing a lot of talking, learning and reading. i plan on doing a write up for this, itll be small and basic, but theres not much info about these things out there. so when i do mine, ill take some pics and write up some instructions.

The write up and pic sounds like an excellent idea. We will make it a sticky in the tech section.
