since this is my first experience with positraction/tractionloc rear ends... do they require any routine or special service... the gears were changed out probably 30k ago by the previous owner ... that's the only mx I know that has been done... the reason I'm asking this is when I pull out into traffic and have to get on it heheh fist gear is hooking up good all through the drive train... a good firm shift to second on the other hand ... doesn't always have that crisp kick... almost like the clutch is slipping...when it's not.... or maybe I'm just paranoid due to slow cash flow... anybody have any experience with this ?

You have to pull the axles, brakes, rear cover, center pin, carrier. Then disassemble the carrier install new clutches and reverse the procedure...

Not swap the shims from side to side... You will have big problems if you do...

I appreciate the offer......I may have a different problem though... after talking with Bones tonite ... I may be changing the clutch instead of doing T-lok work... I was asked the question of where did I rest my left foot while driving ..against the clutch pedal.... so now comes the question.... go back with the FMS King Cobra clutch or switch to one of those Ram Super Grip ?
