OK gang, here's the first of many things I need some insight with. Have any of you installed your own convertible top? If so would you do it again, and how did it turn out? I consider myself smarter than the average turnip, and I have the full compliment of tools at my disposal, however this is something brand new to me. I have ordered the install book (haven't gotten it yet) but would like to get your feedback as to particular problems / hazards to avoid and/or tricks to know to make this go smoother. All help is greatly appreciated.

I've done 3. It not the easiest job to do but, very doable. Just take your time, read the manual and if you can, get the video(it helps a lot). Make sure and get new cables, as the old ones will be worn and will not do a good job of keeping the top tight. Make sure and alot at least 6 to 8 hours to do it and it is a sunny day so that you can lay the top material out in the sun and allow it to heat up. That way it can be stretched a lot easier. The more you can stretch it, the tighter the cables can hold it.
