Well, this has now happened about 4 times now, 2 times in last two days. If I drive around for more than 10-15 mins and I'm driving on a road around 2k rpms and cruising, the engine starts slowing down and then stalls out. Today it was doing it on Woodruff rd towards my house, I even shifted into 1 and the rpms came up and then dropped, if you use the accel pedal it won't accell at all. After it stalls out it will restart right away and accels like there is nothing wrong.
I'm thinking its the TPS going bad or just alot of carbon, would like thoughts and theories.............Thanks in advance!

Change the fuel filter!!! Sounds like a fuel problem to me, change the filter if it hasn't, they are supposed to be changed every 15-30k miles. Also buy a guage and check what the pressure is at idle and driving, and at wide open throttle.

Well, it could be. I was told the fuel pump was replaced prior to me buying it last year, so we'll see. I do have a brand new filter, may install it this week or weekend. The only thing it when you go to accel, there is no response or sputtering like a lack of fuel, but I'll listen and see next time if I can hear the pump running if and when this happens again.

Is it intermittent ?? I would change the fuel filter for good measure, my dads van was doing the same thing and the fuel pump was dieing out intermittently. No way to tell by listening really, the best way is to buy a $20 fuel pressure gauge at advance auto and see if it loses fuel pressure when it happens. Also just pull codes, even no check engine light might still set a code. As a side note that was written like a service writer, lol.

well, I now think its the fuel pump or relay for the pump. It stalled 2 times before I got home from work, the last time it didn't want to refire, had to cycle the key 10 times before I heard the pump come back on..............

Probably the pump if its factory, I would try the relay first, cheaper and easier to get to. Oh by the way run as much gas out as you can just in case is not the relay. Not fun dropping a full tank.
